Located in Ludgershall, Wiltshire, England, Ludgershall Castle is a ruined fortified royal castle from the 12th century. The castle, which Henry III converted into a hunting lodge but had abandoned by the 15th century, still has three sizable walls. In 1981, the ruin was added to the list of scheduled monuments.
