The Cardona Castle is a medieval stronghold located in Catalonia, Spain. Located atop a hill that overlooks the Cardener river valley and the town of Cardona. The fortress was originally built by Wilfred the Hairy in 886; it currently functions as a hotel within the state-operated Paradores chain.
